We’re happy to announce that we’re accepting guest posts for our blog. We’re interested in receiving posts that pertain to personal experiences and viewpoints on domestic violence. We are also accepting poetry and artwork to feature in our soon to be published, ‘Creativity Corner‘, a new segment of our program seeking to invoke a conversation about Domestic Violence in a unique way, using artistic expression. We aim to connect to the human spirit and reject Domestic Violence by appealing to our innate feelings of kindness and empathy. We all have it within us to be kind.
Here are the guidelines for submitting guest posts:
- Word length is not strictly adhered to, but we ask that you keep posts between 500 and 1000 words.
- Any posts using sexually explicit or profane language will not be accepted.
- Author information can be made public, along with your bio, if you wish; or you can post anonymously.
- Guest posts will be edited for grammatical accuracy.
- We will let you know when your submission has been approved and publish soon thereafter. This is a new program, so we don’t have a specific timeline. But as it gets underway, we will have more details on the timeline of the process.
